What is an extract?

With plants and animals as raw materials, according to the needs of the final product, through the extraction, separation (purification) process of physical and chemical methods, one or more effective ingredients in plants can be obtained and enriched directionally without changing the structure of the effective ingredients. The final properties of the product are vegetable oil, extract, powder, crystal, etc.

Classification of extracts

1. Classification according to the type of raw materials

Plants (ginseng, licorice, ginkgo, rhodiola, schisandra, etc.)

Animals (oyster, deer antler, musk, keel, buffalo horn, shrimp and crab shell, etc.)

Minerals (bezoar, gypsum CaSO4, natural copper FeS, vermilion HgS, etc.)
